Job Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for organizing, overseeing, and coordinating all maintenance activities within the facility to ensure that equipment, machinery, and building systems operate efficiently and safely. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks to maintain a safe and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule, coordinate, and monitor all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, service reports, and inventory logs.

Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs, installations, and routine maintenance.

Monitor the performance of maintenance staff and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Track inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and spare parts, and coordinate procurement when necessary.

Support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and workflows.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and company policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Proven experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management, or a related role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) is an advantage.
