Job Title: Technical Office Officer / Technical Office Official

Reports To: Technical Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Technical Office Officer supports the technical department in planning, documentation, coordination, and execution of engineering or construction projects. They ensure technical information is accurate, up-to-date, and efficiently communicated to project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents, drawings, specifications, and project reports.

Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible for team members.

Assist in preparing progress reports for management and clients.

Coordination & Communication:

Serve as a liaison between the technical office, site teams, and clients.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for technical clarifications.

Facilitate smooth communication between project stakeholders to avoid delays.

Planning & Scheduling Support:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Monitor progress against project timelines and update technical documentation accordingly.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure that technical submissions comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

Support the technical team in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical queries (RFI – Requests for Information).

Technical Support:

Assist engineers in technical calculations, design verifications, and solution proposals.

Maintain a database of lessons learned and technical solutions for futurereference.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (depending on the industry).

Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and technical documentation.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, project management software (Primavera, MS] Project) or equivalent.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.]

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Experience:

2–5 years in a technical office, engineering, or construction support role preferred.
