Job Summary:
The Specialist in Technology and Information is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing technology systems and information processes to support organizational goals. This role ensures the effective use of technology resources, maintains data integrity, and provides technical expertise to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain technology solutions to meet organizational needs.
Manage and support IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and cloud services.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Analyze data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to staff on technology-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve workflows.
Monitor emerging trends in technology and information management, recommending innovative solutions.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance technology adoption among employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in IT systems management, data analysis, or technology consulting.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, databases, and information securit protocols.
Proficiency in software applications, data management tools, and emerging technologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL.
Experience in project management or technology implementation projects
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cybersecurity best practices.
